Visit the History Center for an evening of classic film clips and lively conversation about how the movies we love tell the stories of our past. The program will provide a fascinating glimpse into the complex partnership between Hollywood and Washington D.C. in the 1940s, how it mobilized us for World War II and the questions it raises about wartime propaganda and pop culture, both then and now. Hosted by Minneapolis Star Tribune film critic Colin Covert and historian Doug Rossinow. Light entrees, desserts and beverages will be available for purchase in the newly renovated Café Minnesota.
