"The Enemy Within," a traveling exhibition from the International Spy Museum in Washington, D.C., provides an unprecedented look into terror in America from 1776 to the present day. The exhibition explores the surprising stories - some infamous, some nearly forgotten - of domestic terrorists and foreign agents, militant radicals and saboteurs, who have threatened America's sense of security over the past 200 years. The stories are told in themed environments that evoke the spirit of the times and include artifacts, replicas, historic photographs, film footage, interactive displays and video. The exhibit also delves into the hard question of how we identify who the enemy is and how we keep the country safe without compromising the civil liberties upon which it was founded.
