Democrat & Farmer-Labor


The Democratic Farmer-Labor Party is formed and nominates its first slate of candidates for state elections. Hubert Humphrey is a driving force behind the merger of Democrats and Farmer-Laborites, but he turns down the new party's nomination for governor.
